2006-2008 Fender Japan TL-62B TX Custom Telecaster Trans-Blue & New Hard Case

The TL-62B Custom from Fender Japan tends to be seen much less than other Telecasters and are quite sought after as the bound body makes them great lookers. In the early 2000's Fender Japan produced the TL-62B TX which also has factory fitted USA Fender Texas Special pickups, a 7.25" fretboard radius and an Alder body. I've seen a couple of these in Sunburst but this is the first in Trans-Blue (translucent blue)
The "Exclusive Classic" range which came out around 10 years later was produced in Trans-Blue but had Ash bodies & Fender Japan pickups. So this guitar with this spec is a bit of a rarity.
As it's getting on for 20 years old now, this guitar isn't pristine. It's got plenty of marks of use with small chips, scratches & dents on both sides of the body including a larger area where the paint was missing on the front near the control plate. I've done a repair which is pretty good, but not perfect. There's also a lacquer chip on the back of the headstock. Please check out ALL the photos in the gallery for details & before & after shots.
The playability of this guitar is really good with no indents on the medium jumbo frets, a straight neck & pickups that sound really, really good! I think it's an absolute beauty & actually prefer the slightly "roadworn" look.

As said many times, all my guitars come shipped in a new black hard case which is included in the price. I find this is the safest way to avoid damage in transit. Alternatively, if you are collecting the guitar and, like some buyers have cases coming out of their ears, that's no problem, I'll adjust the price (usually around a £50 discount) and I can usually find you an old gigbag to take the guitar away in. The only hard and fast rule I have is that I won't ship a guitar in a gigbag
